China for Rowers

Experience this mystical, mysterious country from the inside...of a rowing shell! Meet local rowers, train on the national team's lake, taste Chinese food as it's meant to be prepared, and fall in love with this country just as we have done!
Places visited will include Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Qian Dao Hu, where true friends and rowers await our return after the cancelled 2020 trip.
Because even though most of the Western world does not agree with China's politics, we care deeply about the friends we have made over the years and their immense hospitality. The China that we visit is different - we've heard these even from overseas Chinese people who have travelled with us! Somehow rowing, even in a complicated place like China, still manages to work its door-opening, smile-producing magic.
We have organized water sports events in China, worked closely with boat manufacturers, rowing clothes makers, and have rowed in all of these spots. Our sister club is the Zhejiang Provincial Rowing Team!
